School News
The Fall Spirit Wear is here and ready for pick up! Please stop by the front desk when you come for class to receive your items. Pre-Professional levels 3-6, your items will be delivered downtown.
Thank you to all who support our school in this way, both by purchasing these items and by wearing them out in the community!
Toilets & sinks & bathrooms....oh my! (A Note from our Director of Production, Kathleen Kronauer)
As you are well aware, at 315 Main Street we only have 3 public bathrooms in a facility that more than 100 people per day utilize. Similarly, there are very few toilets and urinals at the St. Matthews location where so many students and families spend their afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Everyone experiences a time when they don't feel well while at our facilities. When that happens to you, please do your best to wipe the toilet seat, wipe under the seat, wipe the rim of the toilet bowl, and perhaps double check the floor near the toilet. When you are using the sinks, please wipe down the counters if you have splashed outside the sink itself. Please only flush toilet paper down the toilets.
PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH CLOROX WIPES OR BROWN PAPER TOWELS.
If you realize your situation requires additional cleaning or discover a bathroom issue, please hang an 'Out of Order' sign and then report the issue to the front desk staff at the St. Matthews Studios or me privately at the Downtown Studios: kkronauer@louisvilleballet.org. Please don't be embarrassed. Just ask for my help privately.
We are heading into the busiest time of the season when many dancers and families are in the buildings, so please take a moment to review this information with as many people as possible. It really does take a village of people who care about each other!
Sincerely,
Kathleen
