Handbook Reminder
Hair must be kept off the face and neck. Long hair must be secured in a neat bun with hairpins and a hair net prior to class time. Girls with very short hair should secure their hair with a headband, held in place with bobby pins and/or clips, and should use hairspray or gel to prevent hair from coming loose and falling in front of the face.
Please restrict food and drink consumption to the designated areas. We ask that families that use the kitchenette area for meals be sure to clean up after themselves. Cleaning supplies will be made available upon request.

Nutcracker Gift Shop preparations are in full swing! This is The Louisville Ballet School’s biggest fundraiser, and it supports all our dancers from our tiniest ballerinas to our pre-professional program. The gift shop will be open for every public Louisville Ballet performance of The Brown-Forman Nutcracker.
We are looking for parents willing to lend your time and talents to this year’s gift shop. A lot of the work can be completed at the St. Matthews studio while your dancer is in class! We are looking for volunteers to lead our merchandising team, inspect and tag merchandise, package signed pointe shoes, and work shifts in the gift shop during performances. Please fill out the Parent Volunteer Form to sign up!
Short on time? That’s okay! Would you consider purchasing an item on our Amazon Wish List? These items help our volunteer team prepare for gift shop and keep our expenses low. Shop the Amazon Wish List! |
